The Walking Dead: Game Review

I am absolutely pumped to prsent this review to all. I just bought the walking dead game last week for my xbox, and it lives up to its reputation, I must say. The game opens up in a police car. The main character, Lee,a teacher of history at a university, is being transported in a police car when the infection strikes. It turns out he had killed someone for sleeping with his wife. Lee and the policeman hear strange warnings from the walkie talkie of the cop, however the warnings are dismissed. Then the police car hits a shambling undead, throwing it off course, turning turtle into the woods. After killing the policeman turned zombi, Lee escapes from the woods into a fenced neighborhood. There he meets clementine, a 7 year old girl who was left behind by her parents, who went to Savannah. It turns out that Clementine's nanny, Sandra, was infected, and Clementine assists Lee in decapitating her, handing him a hammer. From then on, the duo are inseperable. They meet Kenny and his family, Duck and Katjka, in a barn owned by Hershel. The story goes sideways here, whilst Hershels son and Duck are out repairing the fence, undead attack, and you have to decide who to save. Further in the story, Lee, Clem, and Kenny and his family stumble upon a piece of Lee's past. They seek shelter in the store of Lee's parents, where a group of survivors have locked down. The group consists of Lilly, Carley, Doug, Glenn, and Larry. The story goes several ways here, each ranging from Lilly leaving and Larry dying, to Carley getting shot and Doug getting eaten by undead, all depending on how you answer each question and how you react to each situation. Keep in mind that silence might be the most appropriate answer. --------------------------------------------------------- This game is a masterpiece, by telltale games, it has been given high ratings. "gripping, emotionally charging, and completely blindsiding" -Game Informer "..utterly, gobsmacking arresting..." -OXM, 9/10 "One of the greatest works of gaming art in our current generation." -Cheat Code Central, 4.8/5 It has also recrived rewards such as -Editors Choice, IGN -Editors Choice, Xbox -Best of show nominee -Best of e3 2012 My rating however for this game is.... 9.5/10 The action can be lax at sometimes, but the story is beautifully crafted, if not tragic. Gameplay may seem easy, but there are some challenging moments that will get your heart pounding with adrenaline afterwards. The characters are diverse, with their personality and traits. The cartoonish graphics make certain that the gore isnt too hard on younger audiences. There is no sexual content in the game. The game is great, composed of 5 episodes, each with actions that will determine the outcome of each episode, so pick wisely, good luck, and happy gaming. Gabb out
